The images are not stuck on, glued on, or taped on... the ink of the image is pulled into the layers of the wood creating a permanent image that allows the grain and texture of the wood to show through, creating a one of a kind look. All of our photos transferred onto wood have been finished with a protective coating to resist damage from scratching, damp rags, fading, etc. Each piece comes ready to hang backing. All purchases are made-to-order, so there may be slight variations in wood grain and areas of distress (distressed areas are a normal part of the transferring process that add character and a vintage feel to the piece). All orders must meet our quality standards, represented in our example photos, before being shipped. |
